The Psychology site at is guided by Dr. Shelley Wu. It is comprehensive and covers many areas of psychology, in the formats of blogs, articles, link library, discussion, and more.

A comprehensive guide to the world of forensic psycholgy. Definitions, history, topic areas, theory and practice, careers, debates, offender profiling and study options are all covered in detail.

Website where users can search for and view classic articles from the field of psychology, typed from originals, not low quality scans. Articles are sorted by author and/or topic, and include material by Allport, Dewey, Galton, James, Rogers, Skinner, and Titchener (to name a few). Though not a complete directory, it is a great starting point in accessing classic writings in Psychology.

Provides information about life and work of Sigmund Freud. The site also has a section on the techniques and practice of psychoanalysis.

Provides a large variety of links to psychology organizations, U.S. schools with psychology PhD programs, and social-psychological topics of the day. Tends to be less focused than it when it was originally conceived, and now includes many categories only marginally related to "social psychology."

John Suler offers one of the oldest resources for professors and students of psychology in this site. His site is devoted to sharing ideas and resources for teaching courses that cover topics related to clinical psychology, especially at the undergraduate level. He emphasizes the therapeutic and personal growth aspects of better understanding oneself, one's relationships, and one's life.

There are over a half-dozen different professions that provide services that focus on helping a person overcome a mental health concern or some significant life issue. There are dozens more variations on these, which can lead to a great deal of confusion in the marketplace

Studying Psychology at University

There are numerous universities offering excellent Psychology courses, however for an idea of the grades you should be aiming for should you wish to pursue Psychology in further education, these are the entry requirements for some of the options available.

Local Universities:
- Bournemouth University: 280 points from 3 A levels e.g. BCC / ABD / ACC.
- Southampton University: AAB (to include Maths, Psychology or Science).
- University of Portsmouth: 300 points from 3 A levels e.g. ABC / BBB (to include a B in a Science subject).
